Refine Your Mountain Biking Skills
Join a small group session focused on specific areas of your riding ability to help you progress with confidence. Each group is limited to 6 riders per Professional Mountain Bike Coach, ensuring plenty of personalized feedback.
Our experienced coaches deliver a structured, skills-based session tailored to the chosen riding topic. Sessions are typically offered on scheduled dates and times, but can also be arranged on-demand as a private group session.
Steep n Deep Coaching
Mastering steep and technical terrain requires more than just courage—it’s about developing the right set of skills and building confidence through structured progression. Our Steep n Deep Coaching sessions are designed to help riders of all levels feel comfortable and in control when tackling challenging trails filled with rocks, roots, and loose surfaces.
You’ll learn how to approach steep descents with confidence, focusing on body position, balance, and braking techniques that maximize control without sacrificing speed. We’ll work on line choice to help you read the trail effectively and select the smoothest and safest routes, even in demanding terrain. You’ll also develop the ability to maintain traction on slippery or unpredictable surfaces, giving you the control needed to ride technical sections with flow and precision.
In addition to technical skills, we’ll cover mindset and confidence-building strategies, ensuring you not only ride better but also feel more comfortable pushing your limits. By breaking down intimidating features into manageable steps, you’ll build resilience and adaptability on the bike.
Whether your goal is to ride steep trails with ease, prepare for advanced enduro or downhill racing, or simply expand your riding toolkit, Steep n Deep Coaching provides the guidance and practice you need. After each session, you’ll walk away with practical techniques, personalized feedback, and a newfound sense of confidence to take on steep, technical trails with control and style.
Carving Turns Coaching
Master the art of flowing smoothly through both banked and flat turns with confidence and control. This coaching focuses on helping you understand how to use body position, edge control, and pressure management to carry speed efficiently through corners without losing traction. You’ll learn how to set up your approach, choose the right line, and make subtle adjustments mid-turn so you can maintain balance and stay in control, no matter the terrain.
We’ll break down the key elements of cornering—such as where to look, how to shift weight, and how to control the board or bike through different types of turns—so you can ride with precision instead of hesitation. Practical drills and guided runs will help you feel the difference between sliding out and carving with grip, giving you the tools to adapt to corners of all shapes, sizes, and speeds.
The goal is not only to help you ride faster but also to ride more confidently. By building trust in your technique and learning how to manage traction effectively, you’ll be able to link turns seamlessly, conserve energy, and unlock a smoother, more dynamic riding style. Whether you’re aiming to stay composed in high-speed berms or keep flow through tight, technical corners, this coaching will give you the skills and confidence to carve every turn with control and style.
Pre-Jumps Coaching
This stage focuses on building the essential foundation every rider needs before progressing into jumping. The goal is to develop a strong base of skills that ensure safety, balance, and confidence when approaching jumps for the first time.
You will learn how to maintain proper position in the saddle, keeping your weight balanced and centered to stay in control of the horse. Emphasis is placed on rhythm, pace, and steering, so you can confidently approach obstacles with consistency. We’ll also cover how to use your hands, legs, and seat effectively, making sure you can guide your horse smoothly while staying relaxed and secure.
Ground poles and small exercises are introduced to help you understand take-off points and build your horse’s responsiveness. These activities create a controlled environment where both horse and rider gain trust in one another before progressing to higher challenges.
By focusing on these fundamentals, you will not only improve your technique but also develop the confidence to approach jumping calmly and safely. This stage sets the foundation for future success, ensuring that when you do begin jumping, you are well-prepared, in control, and ready to enjoy the experience.
