Shannon Rademaker is the Founder and Head Coach of Gravity OZ MTB Coaching, bringing over 15 years of dedicated experience in coaching, guiding, and developing riders of all skill levels. His expertise spans across a wide spectrum of the mountain biking world, from grassroots instruction to elite-level athlete development.
Shannon plays a key role in shaping the future of mountain bike instruction in Australia through his work with the national TAFE system. He contributes significantly to the renowned Outdoor Leadership Course, mentoring and training the next generation of mountain bike guides and instructors.
Internationally recognized, Shannon also serves as a Master Course Trainer with the Professional Mountain Bike Instructors Association (PMBIA), the world’s leading MTB coaching certification body. He holds the PMBIA Level 4 Advanced Athlete Coach Accreditation—the highest professional coaching credential available globally. This qualification enables him to work with advanced to expert-level riders, specializing in gravity and trail skills, as well as high-performance maneuver coaching.
Driven by a deep passion for helping others improve their riding, Shannon began his coaching journey to help riders find more fun, confidence, and flow on the bike. His greatest reward is seeing the progression and joy in his students as their skills and confidence grow.
